This new safe children’s knife from Skägfa has won the IF Design Award! The knife is suitable for children from 2 years old and is made from 30% wheat fiber. This special children’s knife boosts independence and self-confidence, while supporting both fine and gross motor skills.
Unlike the Kiddikutter, children use this knife with a “chopping motion” (Kiddikutter = sawing motion).
The handle is made partly from wheat fibers, and the blade is (non-sharp) stainless steel. Unlike the wooden version of this knife, this one can go in the dishwasher. The knife was designed by Skagfa in Spain.
