Ik ben een kunstenaar

Meet the young artist: Everywhere I look, I see ART. But my mother sees it differently. I see: The loneliness of the carrot. My mother sees: A plate that wasn't finished. I see: A view of the world. My mother sees: A hole in the wall. (I don't think she understands me.) But I CAN'T STOP CREATING!

Luckily our artist doesn't let his mother's limited view get in the way. Even better: when he notices she isn't feeling great, he decides to make an artwork for her. He calls it: Ode to my mother.
