Becoming a parent fills your world to the brim. What nobody quite warns you about is how much harder it gets to be social: making new friends sounds easy until you try to schedule it around naps, teething, and plans that collapse by Thursday.

The playroom already knows

We see it every week in our playroom. Two toddlers gravitate toward the same basket of blocks, and ten minutes later their parents are deep in conversation about daycare waiting lists and whose kid also refuses to wear socks.

Some of those conversations have turned into friendships that now arrive together, book together, and leave together. Those moments are the best thing in our shop. And they happen entirely by chance.

What if chance got a little help?

So we're building Monti's Village

Monti's Village is a small, careful feature coming to our playroom bookings. You tell us a little about your family: the ages of your little ones, and what you'd love to connect with other parents over. Being first-time parents, speaking another language at home, or just wanting the kids to play while the grown-ups have a coffee.

Then, while you're booking, sessions where families with something in common are already booked get a gentle nudge:

That's all. No names, no profiles, no chat, no counts. Nothing about your family is ever shown to anyone. You book, you come play, and whether you say hi is entirely up to you.

Rather get a heads-up than watch the calendar? You can also opt in to an email when a session like that comes up: only for the days of the week you pick, and never more than one a day.
