Sales Assistant

Engage customers in sales within the store, including assisting with product selection, maintaining tidy shelves, and restocking merchandise.
Serve as a host for the playroom and events, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for children and families.
Prepare and clean the playroom before and after sessions, ensuring toys and play areas are organized and sanitized.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store, including arranging shelves and preparing cleaning equipment.
Interact daily with families, children, parents, and collaborators, providing excellent customer service and fostering positive experiences.

Excellent social skills with the ability to interact warmly and effectively with diverse customer groups.
Open and communicative, able to listen to customer needs and communicate product information clearly.
Patient and understanding, especially when dealing with children and families in a busy retail environment.
Willingness to learn new processes, products, and playroom management techniques.
Flexibility to adapt to changing work requirements and schedules.

1 year of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a customer-facing role.
Fluent in Dutch and English, with strong verbal communication skills.
Availability to work at least three days (24 hours) per week
Prior experience working with children or knowledge of Montessori principles is a plus.
