At our store, we are committed to promoting sustainability through our Circle of Play program. The majority of our collection falls under this program and allows you to recycle playthings.

We call previously owned products that are part of this program Circled Playthings.

Requirements

If you have a plaything that is part of the program and you wish to recycle it, please review the following guidelines:

1. Condition: The plaything should be in an acceptable condition for recycling, meaning it is complete - not missing any parts and can fulfil its initial purpose.

2. Safety: The plaything must be safe for use, without any potential hazards or damage that could pose a risk.

3. Proof of Purchase: To ensure the plaything was originally purchased from our store, a valid proof of purchase, such as a receipt or order confirmation, is required for all recycling requests.

Process

1. Visit the store: Bring the product that you wish to recycle and ensure that it meets the requirements mentioned above.
2. Staff product verification: Our knowledgeable staff will carefully examine the plaything to verify its eligibility for recycling. You will also be notified of the resell price at this point.
3. Provide payment details: Our staff will request your payment details. This is to ensure that if the plaything is resold, you will receive your share.

The entire recycling process typically takes only a few minutes to complete. Our aim is to make it a quick and convenient experience for you.

We will attempt to sell the product for a fixed period of 3 months. If the product gets sold you can expect to be notified via email and paid within 3 to 5 working days.

Pricing & Payment

You will be paid 70% of the total resell price.

Depending on the state of the plaything you should expect for its resell price to be set using the following scheme:

As good as new	-20% from initial new price
Used	-40% from initial new price

 

FAQ

• When will I get paid?
  As soon as the plaything will be resold you will be paid within 5 working days.
• What happens if the product is not sold?
  You will be notified of that fact via email and you have 30 days to pick it up in our store. If you do not pick it up within that timeframe we will continue our initiative to repurpose it (resell or recycle).
• I have the same product from another store, can I still recycle it?
  Unfortunately, at this time we only recycle products that have been bought from our store.
• Why is product X not in the Circle of Play?
  Only durable products that do not wear off easily and that are easy to sanitise and resell are part of the programme. Unfortunately that means wind instruments and the majority of our textile, paper and carton products are not included.
• I changed my mind, can I recover my plaything?
  You can always notify us that you would like to cancel the recycling process. If the product was not yet sold we will provide the same product in a similar state for pick up in our store.

 

We encourage you to contribute to our sustainability efforts by responsibly recycling playthings that are no longer in use.
